Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join the team supporting several customers within our business unit. You will be based on-site in Milton Keynes, ideally 2-3 days per week, with occasional travel required to the other sites within your area of responsibility. You will head up the GXO finance function across the network, delivering clear and credible reporting on well understood results for both GXO and the customer, while overseeing the weekly and period reporting, forecasting and budgeting exercises.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday - Friday office hours however, flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £78,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
1. Lead a finance team across various locations (approx. 5 direct reports)
2. Ensure robustness of accounting within GXO and visibility of results to the customer through weekly and period reporting
3. Be able to prioritize, multitask and meet tight deadlines
4. Work closely with Account Director and Financial Director to identify new opportunities to support growth across your sites
5. Use your commercial mind to maximize the opportunities within your portfolio for GXO
6. Be able to identify and implement opportunities for efficiency or improvements to processes
7. Take ownership of robust annual budgeting & monthly forecasting for both GXO and Customer
What you need to succeed at GXO:
1. Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent, essential
2. Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
3. Experience in the logistics/ distribution sector including an understanding of open and closed book contracts
4. Proven track record in successfully establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with both internal and external customers
