The role holder will therefore need to demonstrate passion by continuously improving the customer experience and deliver high quality innovative solutions. You will set the standard with the rest of the engineering team through hard work, determination, and enthusiasm to provide the best service possible. We will absolutely require someone who can program Control4 and Lutron as well as having a thorough understanding of networking. What are we expecting from you? residential and commercial AV Engineer, working on a wide range of projects within the installation team, within a given timeframe To provide support of home automation and audio-visual systems installed in the field. Including support takeovers of 3rd party installations. Keep up-to-date on technical requirements and industry standards, identifying training needs To work with and modify installation drawings, schematics and system audit documentation Ensuring systems are installed to a professional level and that all work carried out is to our design and client’s needs. Ensuring issues are dealt with correctly and efficiently and report/escalate where required. Identifying opportunities and generating leads for system upgrades and maintenance support contracts Contact with customers, visiting customer premises where care must be taken at all times to respect the client’s property and confidentiality, and ensure the right company image is portrayed Qualifications & Experience Control4 Automation Programmer Certification. Lutron Homeworks QS Programmer Certification Electrical Qualifications are desirable Minimum 5 years’ experience in Home Automation or Audio-Visual role Experience in high-end residential sector preferred Behaviours or Values Passionate about a career in Smart Home Installations and enthusiastic about technology Exceptional team player, as working in a small team where everyone is helpful and flexible to support their colleagues and suggest improvements where necessary Confident understanding of wiring schematics, plans and drawings Excellent communication skills and timekeeper Excellent communications skills required to build relationships with colleagues, senior business contacts and high net worth individuals
