We are working with a leading construction company that is looking to hire a Construction Administrator to support their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and reputable Construction company with the opportunity for Career Progression.
The Role
As a Construction Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of projects by providing administrative support to Heads of Departments within a well established organisation. You will be responsible for handling documentation, coordinating schedules, and maintaining compliance / Health and Safety records to keep projects on track.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Assist in the preparation and management of project documentation, contracts, and reports.
✅ Maintain and update project files, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
✅ Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams to coordinate deliveries and schedules.
✅ Handle invoice processing, purchase orders, and expense tracking.
✅ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by managing site paperwork.
✅ Provide administrative support for meetings, including minute-taking and agenda preparation.
✅ Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Previous experience in an administrative role within the construction industry (preferred).
✔ Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and construction management software (preferred).
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
