Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated SEN Learning Support Mentor to join our team and work in multiple primary schools across the Liskeard area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with special educational needs in both small group and 1-1 settings.
- Engage students in interactive learning activities, including forest school, sports, and other creative learning experiences.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to adapt activities and ensure all students are supported.
Who We're Looking For:
- Enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a passion for helping children learn and thrive.
- Previous experience in schools, care environments, or support work is desirable but not essential.
- A sporting background is encouraged, as physical activity plays a key role in our approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
