Reference: db57e7e1 We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to enable this 5-year-old little boy to access social and leisure activities in the local community. In addition to his diagnosis of Autism, he is unable to communicate verbally, and this can result in him becoming frustrated and deregulated, which will require a positive and sensitive approach. It is hoped that once he can safely access and enjoy community activities, he will progress to being able to start joining in group settings with other children. Support is required with all personal care and constant supervision is needed as he has no danger awareness. Hours 2 hours per week during term-time weeks, then 8 hours per week during all school holiday weeks. Some flexibility around which days the support takes place. Rate of pay · £13.74 per hour. · Holidays are 5.6 weeks per year, pro-rata. · Out of pocket expenses will be met by the employer. · ILG PA Employee Assistance Programme – this will be purchased by your employer after you have completed 6 weeks of employment.
