Logistics / Sales Person
Working in partnership with one of the UK's most innovative and proactive marine supply businesses, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Logistics / Sales Person to work in the heart of Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position within a company that offers career progression, training opportunities, and great pay (£24,000 - £30,000 DOE) with rewarding potential.
Shift Pattern / Working Hours
Monday to Friday, hours between 8:30am - 5pm, with an early finish on Friday.
Start Date / Duration
The Logistics Sales position will commence with immediate effect; however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is a permanent position.
Job Description
* Responsible for answering inbound calls and emails and actioning them.
* Organizing, ordering, and monitoring sales from marines and ferries, which could include paint, fridges, machines, tools, clothes, and beverages. A willingness to learn and understand all products is a MUST.
* Conducting individualized conversations to find helpful solutions.
* Conducting sales calls.
* Utilizing opportunities to upgrade business.
* Responsible for arranging own sales from start to finish, including picking up sales, ordering, investigating the product, and preparing shipping.
* Any other admin duties as necessary.

The Successful Candidate:
* Ideally have previous experience working in sales, logistics, or fleet services of at least 3 years.
* Customer service or sales experience is essential.
* Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Comfortable working under own initiative with little supervision.
* Confident and determined to achieve targets and KPIs.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
* Committed team player with a keen eye for quality.
* Driven and eager to learn about different areas of business.
* Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
