Job Description Role Profile Role Title: Location: Systems and Planning Support B&Q Worksop DCS Appointing Manager: Manager of Appointing Manager: Systems and Planning FLM Stock & Systems Manager Primary Purpose Of The Role (What is the value added by this role, the overall aim, the reason that this role is required) Primary point of contact for systems & planning issues. Order management, liaising with respective external helpdesks and operational colleagues, ensuring a high level of service is maintained to both Internal and external customers. Key Accountabilities (The main responsibilities of this role, against which performance is measured) Order management, including planning of daily order well. Site helpdesk function. Co-ordinate and support Systems Support Colleagues. Management of site systems and equipment. Management of WMS Logical Areas. Document in detail any system anomalies and provide resolution/escalation. Follow-up and document in detail all system defects through to point of resolution. User authorisation and access control. Prepare, Implement & distribute reports and processes. Maintenance & improvement of allocated KPI processes. Site system training, including the preparation and upkeep of user guides and technical systems documentation. To provide a high level of service to both internal and external customers. Build inter-departmental relationships and communication in order to achieve an efficient operation. To undertake specific project work as and when required. Plan IDT and Express/Manual Orders on a daily basis. Release Management to facilitate Auto Release. Load Management to enable load closure. Express Orders to be planned on a daily basis. Manual Picks to be actioned on arrival from the client. Investigation request by the business and client Branston orders to be micromanaged until loaded on a trailer. Screwfix orders to be micromanaged until loaded on a trailer. Forward Pull to both APR and THS. Supporting other departmental tasks as and when required. Experience of Microsoft Power Apps would be desirable. Demonstrate flexibility and commitment within the role. Any other reasonable request within the scope of the position.
