POSITION PURPOSE
The Front Office Manager at Trump Turnberryis the golden thread between our Guests and our Resort; always leading and inspiring FrontOffice associates to deliver exceptional and memorable guest experiences from the welcome tofarewell. You will strive to ensure the smooth running of the department, successfully executing allFront Office operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Co-ordinate all activities,operations and running of Front Office – whilst actively displaying a proactivefront-of-house leadership style by maintaining a strong presence on the floor
2. Together with Front Officeassociates, take a leading role in positively representing the companywithguests, reinforcing a customer-focused approach to hotel operations at alltimes – andharnessing Medallia data as a tool to measure success
3. Provide clear leadership forquality and process improvement initiatives aligned with business goals andobjectives. Supply andco-ordinate effective training to enable all Front Office associates to carryout their duties as required and to maintain high levels of quality
4. Maintain, implement and adhereto standard policies, systems and procedures relating to hotel operations,including health and safety systems and quality standards, and systemscontingency planning.
5. Maintain a high level ofpersonal service and guest recognition, with particular attention to VIPs and returnguests
6. Ensure quality of data ismaintained within the property management system enabling accurate guesthistory and sales information, always encouraging and promoting use of ourAlice system to enhance the guest experience
7. Ensure effective channels ofcommunication are in place maximising the opportunities of distributingthe information available - and encouraging ideas and participation from allteam members, through monthly team briefings, daily morning meetings anddaily operations meetings
8. On a resort-wide level,actively promote the Trump Card programme to both guests and employees–ensuring all benefits are promoted and understood, and that annual enrolmenttargets are met in an ethical manner in accordance with the policies and proceduressurrounding the scheme
9. Continually,seek and respond to guest feedback, monitor trends inguest feedback, forming action plans accordingly to address challengesin service standards
SpecificJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
10. Ability to communicate freelyin local language is essential
11. Suitable, relevant experiencein the management of Rooms and Front Office
12. Experience and knowledge ofmanaging and controlling the budget for your department
13. Drive and commitment to deliverresults whilst managing complexity and demonstrating adaptability
14. Excellent relationshipmanagement and interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
15. High levels of patience, tactand diplomacy with theability to demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
16. Ability to assess/evaluateother employees’ performance in a fair and consistent manner, providing training when needed,and motivating the team
17. Detail orientated and hands-on with outstandingorganisation and communication skills
18. Excellent systems knowledge isessential for this role and you must possess strong computer skills, includingMicrosoft Office, (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) Opera.
