The purpose of this role is to support the effective management of the store by leading and motivating your team to ensure company standards are maintained in all areas of the store. You will be accountable for one of the three departments in store, however, at times where the business requires it, you will be required to work cross-functionally to support other departments.
As Team Leader, you will oversee the functionality of a team by determining the goals that colleagues will work towards each shift, providing guidance, and leading by example. You will be responsible for the review of safe and legal records to ensure daily completion on your shifts. In the absence of senior management, you will have the responsibility of duty manager of the store.
Trading Team Leader is a full-time position that includes duty manager training with additional premium plus first aid cover. You will lead your day team through the day-to-day running of the store, including customer service, delivery replenishment, training, coaching, mentoring, and guiding. You will look after your existing team and new employees.
Your line managers will be the store manager and trading manager. You need to be an effective communicator at all levels, reliable under pressure, and able to work as part of a team and on your own. This is a full-time position, and you will also need to be flexible with your working hours.
