We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly and Outstanding higher needs team.
As an LSA you will be working one to one with a number of students who need a little extra help. It's a varied, interesting role and hugely rewarding. Every day you'll be helping to transform lives. How many people can genuinely say that?
No previous experience is needed - we provide full training and you will be mentored by an experienced member of the team when you join. What's more important to us is that you have empathy, are patient and caring and can be firm but fair. You also need to enjoy working in a team and have good organisational skills.
A firm and fair approach appropriate for young adults with a variety of needs. Many of our LSA's love what they do and choose to stay in the role but for those who want to progress this is an excellent step towards becoming a Teacher via our internal Teacher Training Programme.
Oh...and did we mention 16 weeks holiday a year...? If you are committed to creating an inclusive learning environment and want to be a part of a supportive team, apply today. We look forward to hearing from you!
