Charsley Harrison LLP is a well-established firm in the heart of Windsor, providing legal services to both commercial and private clients.
The firm is looking for a diligent, confident, driven and experienced solicitor or licensed conveyancer, to fill the role of Residential Conveyancer, Fee Earner. Working alongside the other Fee Earners and the Head of Department, you will handle a broad/varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, with the aid of a team of legal assistants.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload to include sales & purchases of freehold and leasehold property, transfer of equity, re-mortgages, lease extensions and various other matters. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the supervision and training of the junior members of your team.
You should be a team player and be able to demonstrate compassion and commitment to the needs of our clients.
You will have a flexible approach to work, being able to prioritise and accept interruptions to planned workload in order to deal with urgent issues as and when necessary.
Requirements:
* You will be a Residential Property Solicitor/ Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2+ years' PQE.
* The firm is CQS accredited and therefore you should have experience of working with the protocol.
* Extensive experience in dealing with all aspects of Residential Conveyancing.
* Good technical knowledge.
* Case management experience - You should have the necessary skills and expertise to oversee the day to day management of a busy and varied caseload.
* Risk management skills.
* You should be passionate about business development, identifying possible opportunities to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and introducers.
* Exemplary client care skills. Delivering excellent client care at all times, you will need to be comfortable speaking to clients face-to-face, over the telephone and in writing.
* Sound IT skills – experience of case management systems & Microsoft packages.
* Full training on document management and practice management systems will be provided.
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
