Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client as a Debt Recovery Executive in their Leeds City Centre offices; the role reports into the Partner, Head of Business Recovery and Insolvency.
You will need to have previous commercial collections experience to apply for this role.
The role could be full time, part time, permanent or fixed term contract (minimum 12 months). They also offer flexible working that allows some days from home.
Job Purpose
To deliver quality legal services and profitability for the practice in line with the firm's overall aims and objectives.
Key responsibilities:
1. Delivery of debt recovery processing including issuing claims and obtaining judgments.
2. Delivery of relevant methods of enforcement as necessary including Insolvency Procedures.
3. Working within a specific timescale to maintain accounting records for the Debt Recovery.
4. Management of individual work in progress aged debt & disbursements targets in line with departmental protocols.
5. Develop and maintain a rapport with clients to ensure successful collection of debt.
6. Provide client reports which should comply with company standards.
7. Attend any/all training courses when required.
8. Managing external and internal queries / complaints as they arise and escalating any issues to the Department Head.
9. Ensure timely and efficient collection of arrears.
10. Working with other departments to ensure debt recovery process is effective in accordance with company demands / needs.
11. Support the aims and objectives of the firm's strategic business plan and continually work towards the statement of purpose.
12. Consistently deliver high quality advice.
13. Ensure company standards are used to ensure cost effective collection of debt, including prompt and accurate billing, suitable follow up to suit the debtor (client) profile and use of legal means to enforce recovery.
14. Ensure all debt actions raised are compliant with Company standards.
15. Achieve agreed targets in accordance with department / personal objectives.
16. Comply with professional, regulatory, statutory and company requirements.
17. Ensure services are consistently delivered in a courteous manner.
18. Contribute to the improvement of in house quality standards.
19. Carry out any other reasonable tasks as and when it may be required to meet the demands of the business.
