Your new company are a Construction Specialist with a history of delivering high value schemes across the Education, High Rise Residential, Commercial and Leisure sectors, both new build and refurbishment. The company are looking to recruit a Project Director to oversee a high rise scheme in Bristol. Role Overview: As the Project Director, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of this £30m high rise residential project. You will be responsible for managing project teams, ensuring project milestones are met, and delivering the project on time, within budget, and to QA / H&S standards. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Team Management: Oversee and support project managers, engineers, and other key team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project success. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Quality Control: Ensure all projects meet the company’s high standards for quality and safety. Financial Oversight: Monitor project finances, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred but not essential. Work History: Tier 1 Main Contractor working history preferred. Applicants with Tier 2 with proven delivery of high value schemes will be considered. Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in project management within the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex projects. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of construction management software and tools. Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Communication: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
