Oakdale was established nearly twenty-five years ago and is highly regarded as a professional therapy provider. We are a not-for-profit, community-based organisation dedicated to delivering flexible, evidence-based, high-quality clinical services. Our work includes specialist assessments for autism, ADHD, and developmental trauma, as well as a wide range of psychological therapies for children, young people, and adults. Many of our services are commissioned by the NHS, Local Authorities, and schools, while others are accessed privately or through our charitable arm.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support our HR and Recruitment functions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and enjoys keeping processes running smoothly. While HR and recruitment experience is desirable, it is not essential – we are looking for strong administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Administration:
* Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, from job advertisement to offer.
* Managing accuracy and efficiency within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and careers page.
* Coordinating interviews and liaising with hiring managers.
* Tracking recruitment progress and keeping stakeholders informed.
* Maintaining accurate recruitment records and assisting with compliance checks.
* Supporting onboarding processes for new employees and associates.
1. HR Administration & Employee Support:
* Providing administrative support to the HR team, ensuring records are up to date.
* Assisting with HR documentation, policies, and procedures.
* Coordinating HR-related meetings, taking notes, and preparing documentation.
* Helping to organise employee engagement and wellbeing activities.
2. Learning & Development Support:
* Assisting with training coordination, tracking attendance, and managing training records.
* Liaising with external training providers and supporting apprenticeship programmes.
3. General Administration & Systems Support:
* Ensuring HR systems and databases are accurate and up to date.
* Processing reports and maintaining HR files.
* Supporting HR projects and process improvements.
About You
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You will be confident in handling administrative tasks and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Strong administration experience, ideally within a busy office environment.
* 2 years HR/ Recruitment experience.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple deadlines.
* Experience using Google Workspace and other HR/recruitment systems is desirable.
* A proactive and professional approach to work.
* A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
