If so, please proceed on The opportunity Our client are currently seeking a proactive Document Controller to join our client's team on a large Nuclear Programme. In this role, you will work closely with the project management team to control the flow of documents and information across the multiple Programme stakeholders. The position will be central to ensuring the document control process is implemented across all parties involved in the Programme, whether internal departments, customer stakeholders or supply chain partners. The Document Controller will be involved at all stages from identification of the need for a document, through its development, review, issue, and archiving. The role As the Document Controller, you will be looked to by team members to provide guidance on the workflow processes and will be an initial point of contact for any queries / advice on the operation of the Document Control Procedure. This role will fit into a wider Information Management / Document Control team, supporting Programme/ Projects. This is a 2-year contract working for an international Group on a programme working closely with project management teams and controlling documents and information across multiple programme stakeholders. Your duties and responsibilities Management of all stages of document workflows through the document control software. Management of document filing structure within SharePoint working space. Act as primary point of contact for all document workflow activities with supply chain partners. In conjunction with the Project Management and Engineering teams maintain a deliverable look-ahead plan to forecast planned delivery dates for upcoming documents.You will have the following qualifications & experience Proven experience in document control activities. Detail focussed, with process-orientated approach to completing tasks. Strong organisational skills to ensure activities are completed efficiently and in the line with agreed time scales. Proficient in all common Microsoft packages including EXCEL, Word and Outlook. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage priorities effectively.It’s great if you also have the following Experience in working in a client organisation.You MUST be a sole British National and be eligible for, or already hold, SC Clearance. The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise, and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided, and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
