B4, Full Time 37 Hours per Week Monday – Friday Base – National Treatment Centre-Highland, Inverness Campus The National Treatment Centre – Highland is a Scottish Government funded facility hosted by NHSH Highland based on the Inverness Campus delivering Orthopaedic elective operating and a full range of Ophthalmology Services. This is an exciting time to join the National Treatment Centre – Highland Administrative and Secretarial team as a Band 4 Orthopaedic Co-ordinator, employed by NHS Highland where you will be supporting the Orthopaedic Multi Disciplinary Team. You will undertake a wide range of duties, supporting a wide group of professionals to deliver excellent patient care. If you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work autonomously and as part of a team with proven experience as a Secretary with the ability to work accurately under pressure with attention to detail then this role would suit you. You will follow the patient journey from the point of referral to the National Treatment Centre, through booking, arrival at the facility and discharge, ensuring that systems are updated appropriate and timeously for accurate reporting. Medical terminology and a high degree of typing speed and accuracy are required together with excellent communication and organisational skills to support the team and the activity delivered within the National Treatment Centre – Highland.
