If so, we’d love to meet you St Andrew’s Hospice is looking for an inspiring and results-driven Head of Finance & IT to join our team. About the Role As the Head of Finance & IT, you will be responsible for the the Finance and IT departments for St Andrew’s Hospice. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Hospice’s overarching Finance Strategy and procedures. · You will ensure St Andrew’s Hospice has a robust approach to financial management which can meet the needs of the services we provide to the community of Lanarkshire. · You will ensure that financial recording, reporting and forecasting procedures are in place and operating effectively for St Andrew’s Hospice · You will provide sound financial advice to the Trustees and the Chief Executive. · You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial management of St Andrew’s Hospice. · As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), you will contribute to the delivery and development of the overall organisational strategy, shape and influence transformational change and create an inclusive and enabling culture. · You will oversee the IT provision across the Hospice About Us At St Andrew’s Hospice we provide compassionate, specialist palliative care to those with life-limiting illnesses, ensuring dignity, comfort, and support for our patients and their families. What we expect of you · Qualified Accountant (CA/CIMA/ACCA/ICAS) · Proven experience in a senior finance role · Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, as well as preparing annual accounts and reports · Extensive knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and audit processes · Experience in managing and developing teams · Understanding of finance & IT governance, data protection, and compliance requirements · Experience driving change, particularly in finance and IT systems, with a successful track record of implementing new technology and processes Why Join Us?
