The post holder will Support our New Starter Program as a Practice Facilitator, providing clinical education and support to our unit who are new to the Children's unit or new in post. The post holder will work with our Quality and Improvement Lead to support the implementation of Learning in Practice. It will involve the use of coaching skills to develop independent learners, assisting clinical staff when identifying learning needs, and supporting development through planning and monitoring of clinical placements. Develop, facilitate, deliver and evaluate a range of multi-professional education and training programs and clinical competencies, to improve the quality of the patient and staff experience Work with service and education colleagues to facilitate a high-quality learning and education experience for all. Promote a learning environment that optimises and supports the development and education of staff. Assist in identifying and defining areas of improvement and develop targeted teaching and learning activities to facilitate improvement in care. Develop, deliver and evaluate training and educational programs and optimise learning activities. Monitor processes and systems for internal and external professional development programs. Support the development of practice with service leads and others as appropriate. Develop multi-professional learning environments and opportunities.
