B1.3 Licenced Engineer Permanent Shropshire Day Shift £50000 to £60000 per annum Time Recruitment are currently recruitng a B1.3 Licencsed Engineer for our international client based in Shrewsbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader and work with some fantastic engineering professionals. As a B1.3 Licensed Engineer, you will provide engineering support to Flight Operations, oversee maintenance tasks, and ensure the safe operation of aircraft to the highest standards. You’ll lead a team in performing essential maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, while maintaining a focus on safety and quality. Duties of this role will include: Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations. Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and non-routine repairs. Lead a team to ensure the continued safe operation of aircraft. Conduct maintenance on airframe, power plant, and mechanical/electrical systems. Replace avionic line replaceable units and perform simple tests for serviceability. Supervise and certify the work of mechanical fitters. Perform off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, and component technical work in workshops as required. Assist with daily aircraft hangar operations, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping. Essential Skills & Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of engine and airframe systems. Familiarity with specialised test equipment for engine and airframe systems. Up-to-date knowledge of CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M, UK ANOs, and Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM). Experience in Flight/Airport Operations and Aircraft Line Maintenance. Desirable: Familiarity with UK Military Aviation and the UK MFTS. Experience with SAP and ERP software. Education & Qualifications: Essential: CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft). Desirable: Type Rating and experience with H135, H145 helicopters. Essential: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a certifying role. Experience in Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.
