Client Finance Manager
Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Client Finance Manager to oversee financial management and accounting for client-managed spend budgets. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing a finance team, and ensuring compliance with internal and client policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive financial efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Account Directors and Client Accounting Directors to ensure contract obligations are met.
* Lead and develop a client accounting team, overseeing financial transactions, purchase orders, invoice processing, and vendor payments.
* Manage the preparation and delivery of monthly financial reports, budget vs. actual reporting, and variance analysis.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial data reporting for internal corporate purposes.
* Maintain compliance with client, internal, and statutory regulations, including VAT and audit requirements.
* Support financial modeling, budgeting processes, and ad-hoc financial projects.
* Oversee financial aspects of new account and location transitions.
Role Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant or relevant degree with a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proven experience in team management, including performance reviews and development planning.
* Experience in multi-currency financial reporting and knowledge of IFRS, UK, and US GAAP is desirable.
* Proficiency in major accounting applications and financial processes, ideally within property services.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites and corporate offices.
