The Dame Clare Marx Building houses our brand new Essex and Suffolk Elective Orthopaedic Centre (ESEOC) and focuses on providing ringfenced surgery and post operative rehabilitation for orthopaedics across the SNEE. The centre has eight laminar flow theatres, three wards, recovery facilities, and support services including radiology and EBME. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations team to in the newly created role as a Operational Coordinator. You will take full responsibility for the day to day line management of our administrative team ensuring that a high quality comprehensive service is delivered. You will work closely with the Assistant General Manager and Head of Operations to drive forward the utilisation and to realise the benefits of surgical hub operating. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the public and all levels of staff. This is a key role within the Centre so we need someone who will ensure that the Trust's values are used at all times to ensure the expected high standards are maintained. Main duties of the job o The Operational Coordinator will be accountable for monitoring, assessing and reporting on performance within defined service areas. This will involve highlighting any issues to the Service Manager and identifying appropriate action to be taken.
