My client is recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator.
Mainly TIG, looking at all levels BUT must be a welder with experience in stainless or mild steel, sheet metal.

Key Responsibilities
1. You should be able to demonstrate proficiency in stainless steel fabrication; if you have hygienic pipework installations as well, that will be a bonus.
2. You will ideally have experience in manufacturing components including tanks, vessels, valve matrices, platforms, gantries, and skid assemblies.
3. There will be some travel in the UK and to Northern Ireland. ALL expenses paid.
4. Collaborate effectively within a team and readily follow instructions.
5. Liaise with customer contacts when needed and represent the Company.
6. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, taking responsibility for personal and others' well-being.
7. Demonstrate comprehension of manufacturing, schematic, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
8. Possess expertise and proficiency in TIG welding methods.
9. Exhibit competence in pipe building and a thorough understanding of hygienic welding principles and procedures.
10. Occasionally work during non-traditional hours and be willing to travel for assignments away from home.
11. Be open to acquiring new skills through training or further development in relevant areas.
The Ideal Candidate
1. The candidate will possess a GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Maths.
2. Essential qualifications include practical expertise in TIG welding and fabrication, accompanied by a practical understanding of sheet metal machinery and equipment.
3. Proficiency in fine wall pipe building and familiarity with hygienic welding procedures are also highly regarded.
4. A valid driving license is a must, along with effective communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
5. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a diligent and conscientious work ethic, coupled with a willingness to work overtime and adapt promptly to short-notice changes.
6. It would be ideal if you have experience within the food or beverages sector, but it is not essential.
