Job Title –Restaurant General Manager
Salary - £42,000 - £46,000
Location – North Yorkshire
Castle Employment Group are working in partnership with a 3 AA Rosette fine dining restaurant in North Yorkshire who are looking to bring in an experienced restaurant manager to lead the team and deliver on the clear goals & objectives set out by the independent owner.
We are looking at candidates with a salary bracket of up to £46,000 who will in turn benefit from a generous share of tips, discounts across the venue and meals whilst on duty, along with a discretionary bonus based on company performance.
We are wanting to speak to passionate & professional leaders that have previous experience in fine dining settings and are looking for an opportunity where they be a part of a project as the restaurant works towards their goal of Michelin over the next couple of years. They would have a great team of professional around them and focus would be customer service, overall management, and staff training & development.
Role:
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
Coordination of the restaurant team making sure everyone is working closely together
Strong levels of communication across the team and other departments
Strong customer service ethos and the ability to deliver high levels of service consistently
Management of restaurant rotas and other administration duties
Recruit, manage & train the staff in your direct report.
Knowledge of health & safety legislation along with licensing laws
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 yearsin managerial positions with fine dining experience
Experience using a Restaurant Booking Systems
Rosette, Michelin & tasting menu experience would be preferred.
Proven experience managing a team including recruitment & training.
