Job Description
As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
3. Manage day-to-day financial transactions
4. Record office expenditures and ensure these expenses are within the set budget
5. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
6. Reconcile invoices received with departmental billings
7. Process employee expenses and manage payroll
8. Maintain digital and physical records of invoices and contracts
9. Develop an in-depth knowledge of organisational products and processes
10. Provide customer service and support to internal departments and vendors
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
12. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software
13. Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations
14. High level of accuracy and efficiency
15. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
What's on Offer
If you are successful you will be entitled to:
16. A competitive salary in the range of £23k - £27k
17. Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (one hour for lunch)
18. Holiday entitlement - 21 days + bank holidays + 1 extra day accrued for every year worked for the company (capped at 25 days)
19. 6-month probation review and continual performance-related reviews
