Job Summary
Working for a sustainable and bespoke family-run business, you will create new business opportunities by conducting outbound calls and building relationships with prospective clients. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-growing organization, working within a friendly, supportive team.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, office based in Rainham, Kent.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Conduct B2B outbound calls
2. Qualify new and existing leads
3. Attract new companies to work with our client, to make improvements
4. Identify potential sales opportunities
5. Lead generation with a seamless handover to the sales team for qualified leads for quoting, appointments, or Zoom/Team calls
6. Networking at events
7. Pipeline management
8. Any ad hoc roles as requested
Please note, our client is not looking for someone who can bash out 100 calls per day. Although you need to be prepared to achieve the numbers, this role is much more about having high-quality, meaningful conversations around how you can help clients with your service.
Specific Skills and Experience
1. Proven work experience in business development/outbound calling is highly desirable
2. Professional and confident telephone manner whilst being positive and enthusiastic
3. Self-motivated and target-driven
4. Ability to build new business relationships quickly
5. Excellent communication skills at all levels
6. Creative thinker and problem-solver
7. Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
