An opportunity has arisen to join our well-respected physiotherapy musculoskeletal outpatient team in the Caradon Locality based at Liskeard Hospital.
We have a mix of staff both administrative and clinical ranging from Band 2 to 7, including Clinical Specialists, Advanced Practice Practitioners and First Contact Practitioners.
Main duties of the job
Our service provides out-patient physiotherapy to the local community accepting referrals from GPs, Consultants and Allied Health Professionals, as well as Patient Self-referrals. We have a strong commitment to professional development, regular supervision and in-service training at a local and countywide level.
We are looking for a capable, motivated and flexible colleague to join our team on a full time basis.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
* Current professional registration - NMC, HCPC
* Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
* IELTS unless qualification taken in English
* Evidence of further training relevant to specialty e.g. Post Graduate Courses
Experience
* Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team
* Broad range of placement experience of medical, surgical, orthopaedic and rehabilitation work
* Previous NHS experience
* Previous experience in MSK Outpatients
Skills
* Up to date clinical skills
* Excellent communication skills - empathy, negotiation, and motivation, presenting of complex facts in an understandable way, reassurance and support particularly to anxious people
* Commitment to and understanding of teams and team working
* Evidence of responsibility e.g. health and safety, steward, committee member
