The Post An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager to join one of our three Assessment & Wellbeing Teams, here in Brent. We are a value-based employer seeking enthusiastic experienced Team Manager. Our Team Managers here at Brent use a strength-based approach to promote the independence, interest and rights of our residents and their families and Carers. The Assessment and Wellbeing Teams provide a supportive service applying preventative, enabling, proactive and strength-based approach. The teams support with medium to a longer-term social work support and interventions, along with safeguarding enquiries, reassessments and reviews. The Person As the Team Manager you will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead by example. you will also have excellent social care practice and a commitment to a strength-based approach to service delivery. As a team manager you will be an inclusive leader, with strong legal literacy, with a solution focussed approach, possessing the skills and qualities to motivate and inspire your team. You will have strong communication skills with your team, senior managers, colleagues and partners across the health and social care sector as well third sector organisations. You will have substantial post-qualification experience with a Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. You will have knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, standards and procedures, relevant theoretical frameworks, practice models, reflective supervision that impact on practice within your team and the wider service. In addition, you will also have knowledge of national policy, strategy and developments regarding Adult Social Care.
