In this newly created role, you will further strengthen the finance team in driving and delivering the preparation of reports, records and accounts to aid management decision making. The Role: Duties will include (but not be limited to): Actively communicate with budget holders and regional management teams to plan, monitor and advise on financial performance, explaining financial information in a clear and concise way to non-finance personnel. Full participation in month end close function including preparation and review of journal entries, analysis of revenue and operating costs Assistance with weekly revenue and cost forecast updates Participation in the annual budget process. Prepare and support in the preparation of reconciliations and analysis with relevant and appropriate back up and critical analysis of the balances. Support in compliance with the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements and ensure reporting objectives and policies are adhered to within deadlines set. Ensure suitable financial controls are in place to properly record all financial transactions Pro-actively identify/support process improvement opportunities and assist to establish best practice, standardisation and ways of working. The Person: Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA with a flexible approach to tasks and roles, and the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team. The desire to make a positive impact, taking a pro-active approach, communicating across the business with both finance and non-finance personnel. Relevant experience working within a similar environment and an understanding of chart of accounts, legal entity or management reporting structures IT Systems: Detailed working knowledge of SAP and working knowledge of BPC is advantageous Ability to work with Excel (including macro models), Word and PowerPoint is essential and experience of running reports and data extraction Don't miss out.
