Planner required in the response repairs team, managing reactive repairs. For this role, you must have experience as a Planner / Scheduler working on a Social Housing contract, either for a main contractor or RSL (Social Landlord), along with excellent time management and communication skills. You will also have experience of using a repairs and maintenance software.
Planner / Scheduler Responsibilities:
1. Managing inbound & outbound calls on system
2. Managing operatives' diaries
3. General administration
4. Planning repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative
5. Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively
6. Liaising with operatives, tenants, and the Client
7. Document Control - Ensure worksheets are received and checked
8. Work towards individual and client KPI's
9. Deal with council and housing contracts, planning and scheduling routine, essential, and emergency property maintenance works
10. Tracking and monitoring works to their completion
11. Liaison with in-house and 3rd party engineers and tradesmen and council employees to plan appointments, materials, and logistics, and reorganising schedules
12. Organisation of external suppliers & subcontractors
13. Ensuring all trades are readied and present on-site and works completed in-line with committed client completion dates
14. Be able to work in a fast-paced demanding role with constant collaboration with key stakeholders, clients, councils, housing residents, suppliers, and trades
