Role Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced leader who is dynamic to oversee the daily operations of our newly opening hotel during a transitional period. As General Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction, leading a team of dedicated professionals, and ensuring the overall success of the hotel. This position requires bold vision, strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to make effective decisions to drive operational excellence and craft experiences that linger in the memories of our guests. Operational Leadership: • Assume overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the hotel. • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures meticulously to ensure efficiency and compliance. • Lead all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and other operational areas. Guest Satisfaction: • Curate exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. • Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally turning challenges into opportunities to shine. Continuously refine the guest experience through thoughtful feedback analysis. Team Management: • Inspire, lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of hotel staff to embody the spirit of creating experiences beyond expectations. • Host regular meetings to communicate vision, bold goals, and foster collaboration. • Cultivate a spirited and positive team environment that radiates charisma. Financial Management: • Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets, control costs, and maximise revenue. • Execute strategies to achieve ambitious financial targets while maintaining sumptuous standard. Sales and Marketing: • Collaborate with the sales manager to drive revenue and increase occupancy rates. • Develop and execute innovative strategies to attract new business and retain existing customers. Quality Assurance: • Monitor and enforce quality standards in all areas of the hotel. • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with brand standards. Key Requirements • Proven experience as a General Manager ideally within a 5 environment. • Experience of hotel openings would be advantageous. • Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. • Charismatic leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
