Job summary We are currently looking to recruit friendly, reliable, enthusiastic and hard-working Medical Receptionist to work in a friendly GP practice in Queens Park W10. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and able to work under pressure to provide best patient service. Must have excellent communication skills and a can-do approach to their work. They must be able to work well on their own as well as being an integral part of our practice team. The post part time 16 hours per week Monday - Wednesday between 8am - 6.30pm no weekend work. Full training will be provided. Excellent pension scheme offered. Main duties of the job - Greeting in a pleasant and friendly manner all callers at reception. - Answering the telephone, booking appointments, dealing with and signposting enquiries. - Registering new patients including ensuring the Practice guidelines are followed for acceptance of new patients and all paperwork is in order. - Processing patient prescription requests electronically - processing electronic documents, read coding and filing into patient records - Carry out other tasks as requested by the Practice Managers and supporting the Medical team.
