Core Responsibilities:
As a Billing Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the fee collection processes. Your daily tasks will include:
* Liaising daily with legal professionals to address queries and resolve issues promptly
* Collaborating with professional clients to foster strong relationships and streamline internal systems for efficient billing
* Conducting aged debt reviews alongside other team members
* Processing BACS payments
* Handling weekly and monthly remittance statements
* Updating both internal and external systems
* Adhering to stringent deadlines

Essential Skills:
* Previous experience in a billing, finance or accounts role
* Strong IT skills, with a high level of numeracy for interpreting numerical data
* Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
* Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
* Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with colleagues and external professional contacts
* Experience of working as part of a small team
Desirable Skills:
* Previous experience in a legal cashier or credit control role
* Familiarity with the legal sector
