This role will be based in our Bridgwater, Head Office Depot covering maternity leave for 6 months. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday- Friday, 37.5 hours a week and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £26,750.00 per annum dependant on skills and experience. The Accounts Assistant: To assist the Management Accounts Team with the effective administering of duties under their responsibility and general duties within the Accounts Team About us: Whether it’s fresh consignments or frozen goods we have it covered Langdons can deliver to almost any location in the UK or Ireland within 24 hours. What you’ll be doing as our Accounts Assistant? Key Responsibilities: Checking coding of expenses and credit cards and chasing authorisations to assure approval is within the agreed SLA. Daily bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis. Coding and filing of payment paperwork including cheque reconciliations. Raising monthly and ad hoc sundry sales invoices. Processing and reconciling petty cash returns. Production and reconciliation of company fuel issues. Checking coding of invoices through invoicing system. Monitoring and reconciliation of toll accounts. Monthly balance sheet control account reconciliations. Preparation and posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments. Assisting with monthly reporting and year end. Prepare reports and participates in ad hoc Accounting related projects where required. What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Accounts Assistant? Is qualified to an AAT Level 2 and above. Experienced in working with staff at all levels and working in a team-based office environment. Committed to ongoing professional development IT literate in Microsoft Office packages and databases/company systems and has the ability to analyse and present relevant information in an accessible and presentable format. Ideally experience of working within SAP accountancy package. What skills are we looking for in our Accounts Assistant?
