We are looking to recruit a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Support Workers to join our newest young persons 16-18 supported accommodation home, opening in Winchester in January 2025.
As a Support Worker, you will play the vital role in supporting and encouraging the development of young people to achieve their full potential, and to equip each young person with the skills necessary for successful independent living skills in adulthood.

```Responsibilities```
- Provide emotional support and compassionate listening
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, cooking, supporting young people with laundry and housekeeping
- Help young people to develop independent living skills including budgeting and daily activities
- Collaborate with professionals to ensure the well-being and safety of each young person including Children's Services, CAMHS, Police and education
- Maintain accurate records and attend statutory meetings
- Promote independence and encourage individuals to participate in social activities
-Advocacy and assistance in accessing services such as medical appointments
- Promoting the education, learning and development of each young person and future education/employment plans

Education:
* GCSE or equivalent (required) in English and Maths
Experience:
* Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
* Youth Work: 3 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (required)
* NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
