Job Description
Our client is a Leeds based with Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Building Surveying as their core business. They have grown steadily in size and reputation over the past 5 years and have a team of 30 staff who are involved in delivering projects ranging in value from £50K to £250 million. \n \nDue to an increase in their work load they are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors or an Associate Director to join their company and take a lead role on some key projects.
\n \nThey work on projects across a variety of sectors to include: \n \n- Residential \n- Commercial & Office \n- Retail \n- Hotel & Leisure \n \nResponsibilities \n \n- Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage budgets. \n- Lead and manage project teams \n- Administer contracts and manage tender processes. \n- Conduct risk management and value engineering assessments.
\n- Monitor and report on project costs and progress. \n- Provide expert advice on cost management and procurement strategies. \n\nQualifications/Experience: \n \n- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
\n- Professional membership (e.g., RICS, AIQS, etc.) preferred. \n- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying. \n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
