GSL Education is working with a reputable school in Malton, North Yorkshire, to appoint a temporary Teacher of PE for Key Stage 3 and 4. About the Job Role:
To deliver engaging and effective PE and Games classes for KS3 and KS4 students.
Implement and follow lesson plans, adapting as needed to maintain high standards of physical education.
Foster an inclusive and encouraging environment that supports students’ physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Collaborate with the PE department to ensure consistency in lesson delivery and assessments.
Supervise students in various physical activities, ensuring safety and adherence to school policies.
2 week timetable; Week 1 Tuesday to Friday, Week 2 Tuesday to Thursday.
Teacher of PE Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant PE teaching experience in PE at GCSE level.
Strong understanding of the PE curriculum for KS3 and KS4 students.
Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and collaborative teaching environment.
Relevant UK teaching experience from within the last 2 years that can be referenced. Placements will be accepted for ECTs.
