Role: Our newest store to our already 21 store estate will be an important store in the heart of Scotland and Perthshire. Situated in Perth and supported by our nearby stores in Stirling, Dunfermline and Inverness, our aim is to deliver all the leading brands to our customers wherever they may be working. We are looking for a manager for our brand-new store based in Perth. The role will be to lead the new store into becoming the known destination for paint in Perthshire. You will need to lead a team to execute the day-to-day retail operations in store e.g. key holding, scheduling, visual merchandising, stock/delivery, admin, banking, housekeeping. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: To drive sales and profitability of the store. Achieve the highest levels of customer service. Manage a team in store and liaise with regional management to adhere to company policy. Ensure the visual representation of the store is maintained to a very high standard. Control costs and stock management as well as cash handling and till management. Manage all aspects of HR & Health & Safety, including fire marshal and first aid responsibilities. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management We are looking for someone who has; A minimum of 3 years previous management experience A full driving license Exceptional customer service skills A bubbly and friendly manner A hard-working can-do attitude Exceptional time management and organisation skills Painting & decorating knowledge (desirable) Job details: Monday to Friday 7.30 – 5pm Every second Saturday 40 hour working week.
