The role of a sales account manager: Take ownership of projects within the education, early years, and complementary therapy sectors, partnering with large membership organisations and publishers. Spend most of your time sourcing new leads and uncovering business opportunities across agreed sectors. Communicate confidently through phone, email, video calls, and in-person meetings. Attend relevant industry events to connect with prospective clients. Leverage provided leads while also making proactive outbound calls and approaches. Forge and maintain strong client relationships, turning prospects into long-term accounts. Manage your own targets and drive business growth through your efforts. What we are looking for in a sales account manager: Motivated, proactive, and organised with a professional, confident approach. Comfortable with outbound calling and skilled at initiating conversations with potential clients. Enthusiastic about building relationships and delivering impactful advertising solutions. Skilled in using web and social media tools to prospect leads. Goal-driven, able to meet targets and deliver revenue growth. Passionate about the media industry, with an interest in the golf, shooting, or early years sectors desirable.
