We are looking for a Business Development Officer to join our team and make a real impact in the lives of adults we support.
This post will be managed by our Principal Social worker and work alongside the Practice Lead/ ASYE co-ordinator and fellow Business Development Officer.
Key tasks of the role:
1. Management responsibilities for business support functions.
2. Work with operational teams within Adult Social Care to ensure effective quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement of practice.
3. Work collaboratively with internal colleagues, partners, and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships for joint working and co-production.
4. Ensure that the voices of people with lived experience and our varied communities inform decision-making and service design.
5. Embed learning in our everyday business.
6. Implement change initiatives, helping to improve services and deliver better outcomes for people in our communities.
7. Support clear communication and co-ordination across teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Skills & experience required:
1. Proven experience within Adult Social Care, including working with a wide variety of professionals.
2. Demonstrable ability to lead and manage change, developing and improving services to enhance the quality of care.
3. Good understanding of relevant legislation, national frameworks, and current trends in Adult Social Care.
4. Strong experience in co-production, working collaboratively with people with lived experience to shape services and policies.
5. Experience in service development and improvement, including identifying areas for change, implementing strategies, and evaluating outcomes.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
7. Exceptional co-ordination and organisational skills, managing multiple priorities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
8. Experience in project management is beneficial.
