Business Development Manager

£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus
Our client is seeking a new Business Development Manager to join their team in the Fulfilment industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with external and internal stakeholders, acting as a business partner within your territory. You will be identifying new business opportunities & strategies while supporting with operational challenges.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and foster relationships with business partners and external stakeholders effectively.
2. Provide insight and business strategies to stakeholders, develop sales models, and assess their effectiveness.
3. Assess capabilities and needs of business partners.
4. Achieve KPIs and sales objectives.
5. Keep up-to-date on the latest products and services through attendance at events, meetings, and training courses.
6. Monitor the financial performance of business partners and provide feedback to improve.
Skills and Experience Required
1. 2+ years' experience in sales.
2. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
3. Ability to generate and chase leads.
4. New business mindset.
5. Coaching and client management skills.
6. Excellent communicator with the ability to negotiate.
7. Secure MS Office knowledge - especially Excel.
8. Willingness to travel around the given territory.
9. Full driving license.
Desirable
1. Logistics/B2B sales experience.
2. CRM experience.
