The Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday 8 am - 4 pm
Our client is a specialist safety equipment manufacturer who is a leader in their field and has a thriving, growing business here in Sheffield. Due to recent changes and growth within the company, we have an immediate requirement for a Senior Administrative Assistant with experience in sales administration and accounts.
This fast-paced and varied role requires the successful candidate to roll their sleeves up and work collaboratively with the team. The company is small but growing quickly, so we would love to hear from candidates who ideally have experience working within a small, dynamic team and are passionate about helping the business drive forward and reach its goals.
This varied role will include the following responsibilities:
1. Overseeing account administration
2. Providing the sales and logistics teams with administrative support
3. Sales administration duties including preparing import and export documentation
4. Assisting the team with the arrangement of deliveries
5. Working collaboratively with the team to ensure orders are placed on time
6. Assisting with ordering stock
7. Occasional help within the warehouse to unload large deliveries
8. Supporting the finance function of the business including basic bookkeeping, sales and purchase ledger, making payments, and occasional credit control
9. Ensuring all payments are scheduled
10. Updating systems including Sage, ChargeBee, and Excel
11. Other administrative support as required
We would love to hear from candidates who have the following skills and experience:
1. Senior level administrative experience
2. Experience preparing import and export documentation (advantageous)
3. Experience working within logistics (beneficial)
4. Confident using IT including the full suite of MS Office, particularly Excel, SAGE, and ChargeBee
5. Physically able to lift up to 25kg for occasional help within the warehouse
6. Basic bookkeeping experience
7. Confidence in handling a busy, ever-changing workload
8. Friendly and happy to work within a small team
9. Excellent time-keeping
