We are delighted to be working with this prestigious legal institution to recruit for a 2 year fixed term contract as a Deputy Advocates Clerk.
Your new role:
This is a full time role that offers hybrid working and a generous salary and benefits package including private health care, 9% pension contribution and flexi-time. You will offer varied support to a team requiring you to be proactive and have the ability to react to changing situations.
Duties will include:
1. Diary Management
2. Dealing with incoming enquiries
3. Fee negotiation
4. Arranging hearings and meetings while being mindful of case load and capacity
5. Drafting terms of engagement
6. Fee negotiation
7. Budget analysis and management
8. Event arranging
9. Marketing in order to onboard new business opportunities
10. Maintaining of website and social media
11. Proactively maintaining knowledge of changing legislation
12. General and varied ad hoc duties
Experience Required:
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years administrative experience in a senior role and legal knowledge and experience would be advantageous. You will be required to complete 6 month training programme.
