We are looking for an organised and hard-working person to join the team in Telford as our School Administrator to help support the Head Teacher and the SENCO to be an integral part of our tight-knit team. You will be the first point of call for liaising with parents and carers as well as supporting the management of Finance, Estate Management, ICT, and other administrative duties across Family Care Groups Education services. Rodenhurst School provides individualized SEN education within a tailored therapeutic learning environment. Children may have been out of education for significant amounts of time, and presenting with needs such as autism, high levels of anxiety and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support the SENCO in all administration relevant to the annual reviews, EHCP and any other relevant requirements. Reception duties, be the first point of call for mobile phone, computer, and Broad band issues. Maintain Pupil files, Single Central register and any other contractual/legislative documents as directed by the Head Teacher Management of Pupil premium income and expenditure. From confirming a pupil's entitlement, agreeing a spending plan and reporting, monitoring and reconciliation of, in conjunction with the SENCo and the Finance and Business Support manager Support the recruitment process for Teachers, HLTA, Instructors and LSA's - organising venues, interviews and attending interviews to support the Head Teacher/Deputy administratively. Carry out the duties in the most effective, efficient and economic manner available Maintain and reconcile the petty cash ensuring all receipts are available for audit purpose. Requirements: Must have experience of working in a school or similar environment and knowledge of the business and finance functions. Advanced ICT skills, effective use of Excel, word etc. Must hold a Nationally Recognised Business/Administration qualification. Minimum of 5 GCSE's (Grade C or above) Must hold a current full UK driving licence. Good communication and inter-personal skills. Have the ability to relate to young people and adults. Your weekly hours are based on 37.5 hours per week.
