Audit and Accounts Manager or Assistant Manager
An accountancy practice with a wealth of success and experience and a huge amount of organic growth are looking for a Manager to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity and one of the reasons I love working with this firm is their open mindedness. The purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of audit and non audit clients. It is a hand on and commercial role, with high levels of technical and customer services. We can consider Newly or Recently Qualified Accountants who are ready to make the move from 'Senior' to 'Junior Manager', or we can look at more experienced 'Managers' who want to take on a more 'Senior Manager' role in a firm that is likely to offer a long term happy and progressive career - right up to partner level. The progression is fabulous!
Regardless of the level you join, you will be given a high level of autonomy and a portfolio of your own from the off. However you will also have all the support you could want. It's a brilliant opportunity that will suit a qualified accountant who is looking to grow learn and improve technically, take on (and grow) a portfolio of clients while being fully supported but not micromanaged. The role will include:
Managing a wide range of non-audit clients including direct involvement with clients from beginning to final completion.
The role will involve managing the audit process from planning through to completion, providing technical support to Partner, leading client meetings, mentoring junior staff and delegating work.

Responsibilities:
* Managing a varied portfolio of clients
* Managing, planning and reviewing external audits
* Managing teams of junior staff
* Providing assistance with technical queries
* Performing billing management
* Business advisory work
* Aptitude to assist with business development activities
Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA Qualified
* Experienced in leading audits
* Experience of managing a client portfolio (or ready to step into this new level)
