Applicants will need to have a Talking Therapies Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) qualification for this role. Applicants without a PWP qualification will not be considered.
Please note, we are currently operating a hybrid working approach incorporating remote working and working face-to-face, from the community and our bases in Devizes, Salisbury, Swindon, and Bath. Applicants will be expected to travel to at least one of these areas as required.
The BSW Talking Therapies Service is a community-based primary care psychology service working with our GP partners to provide low and high intensity therapy.
Our PWPs offer appointments to service users from our bases in Devizes, Salisbury, Swindon, and Bath and also from within GP surgeries and remotely from home. Appointments are mainly by telephone or video call with an increasing number of face-to-face appointments being offered. Our integrated working supports close clinical contacts and a team-based working environment with other health professionals.

The BSW Talking Therapies Service supports flexible working, part-time and extended hours which fit in with a modern healthcare system.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for qualified PWPs who wish to continue developing their existing skills and progress with us to provide an outstanding specialist healthcare service treating common mental health problems to our service users.
Our focus is on high-quality assessment and treatments which are carefully planned to offer a structured clinical day. Clinical skills supervision, case management, and line management are offered in line with Talking Therapies guidelines with extra duty support available as needed.
We also offer the opportunity for staff to get involved in specialist areas of interest as a “champion.” Current topics covered include support for younger people, equality, diversity & inclusion, service user involvement, wellbeing, and several others.
