Job Title: Primary KS1 Intervention Specialist - Bispham Location: North West England, Lancashire, Bispham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120 - £150 Per day About the Role: The Primary KS1 Intervention Specialist in Bispham is responsible for providing targeted interventions to Key Stage 1 students in various subjects. This includes planning and delivering effective teaching sessions, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other teachers and support staff to ensure the academic development of students. Qualifications and Experience: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting - Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field - Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum - Postgraduate qualification in Education (preferred) - Specialisation in interventions for KS1 students (preferred) Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver targeted interventions to Key Stage 1 students in various subjects - Assess student progress and adjust interventions accordingly - Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure the academic development of students Key Skills: - Proficiency in planning and delivering effective interventions - Ability to assess student progress effectively - Strong classroom management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Familiarity with educational technology Working Conditions: This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in a primary school setting. The teacher will collaborate with other educators and support staff to support the academic progress of Key Stage 1 students.
