About the Showroom & Business Development Executive role:
The Business Development role plays a critical part in the sales team by identifying and qualifying potential leads and ensuring a steady flow of high-quality prospects to our showroom. You will be responsible for conducting initial outreach, gathering essential information, and assessing the potential fit between the prospect's needs and the company's products or services.
The Showroom & Business Development Executive holds the responsibility of ensuring every aspect of the showroom performs to the highest standards. Furthermore, the Executive will be the brand ambassador for the company, introducing and delivering the brand and its products to architects, interior design practices, and in-house buying teams.
Responsibilities: Business Development
1. Conduct outbound calls, emails, or other forms of communication to engage with potential leads.
2. Present and communicate the USPs of the company to prospective customers.
3. Assess and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria, such as budget, need, authority, and timeline (BANT).
4. Utilise effective questioning techniques to understand the prospect's requirements and challenges.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions in the CRM system.
6. Identify and research key stakeholders and decision-makers relevant to the potential project.
7. Provide relevant information, samples, and resources to educate and engage prospects.
Responsibilities: Showroom
1. Serve clients: meeting and greeting, understanding project requirements, and guiding them through suitable options.
2. Report all showroom data in a professional and timely manner.
3. Be responsible for showroom sampling.
4. Order new products timely to ensure showroom panels reflect the current wood book.
5. Deliver Home Consultation Service, visiting clients at home once product requirements are established.
6. Take direction from the Head of Showrooms and actively seek new opportunities for outbound activity.
7. Initiate new ideas for showroom events to increase leads and brand awareness.
KPIs:
1. Number of showroom / F2F visits
2. Quality of reporting new leads and project progression
3. Quality of growth of client / specifier relationships
4. Visit conversion to deals
5. Won deal value
Skills & Experience of a Showroom & Business Development Executive:

The successful Showroom & Business Development Executive will receive a £35,000 basic salary with a strong uncapped commission structure.
