Job Summary
A heavy goods vehicle technician is required to work night shifts in Reading. The ideal candidate will have experience with major and minor repairs, routine maintenance, and workshop management.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing complex repairs and maintenance tasks on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other equipment
* Carrying out routine maintenance activities such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and inspections
* Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment and managing inventory effectively
* Collaborating with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs
* Completing necessary documentation, warranty claims, and maintaining accurate records
* Providing emergency roadside repair services as needed
Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Mechanical Engineering qualification
* Previous experience as an HGV technician with a solid technical foundation
* Confident using technology and diagnostic tools

What We Offer
A competitive salary of £55,000 per annum // £23.50 per hour and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
