JobPurpose:
To drive thestandard in customer care. To provide technical advice andcarry
out vehicle inspections toprovide a diagnosis maintenance and repair work in accordance withour client s approved technical procedures in order to keepvehicles in optimum workingcondition.
Tomaintain the highest standards of safety and to meet alllegislative and corporate standards. You ll demonstrate our clientsPurpose Principles and Ambition (PPA) in all dealings withcolleagues customer andprospects.
KeyResponsibilities andAccountabilities:
* Deliverthe highest possible levels of technical advice service andmaintenance to all our clients customers on Ford and other brandvehicles.
* Workwithin the relevant protocols as dictated by legislation thecompany the manufacturer and relevant suppliers at alltimes.
* AssistSenior and Master Technicians and undertake learning anddevelopment asprescribed.
* Maintaincomprehensive records in an appropriate and timely fashion andensure colleagues do thesame.
* Createand maintain a supportive culture for all colleagues in line withour clientsPPA.
* Committo ongoing learning anddevelopment.
* Deliverall services in the most resourceeffective mannerpossible.
Requirements
EssentialRequirements:
* Musthave up to 5 years as a Senior Vehicle Technician in a dealershipenvironment.
* Fullyqualified City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 or NVQ Level 2 or 3qualification orequivalent
* Demonstrateability to manage processes administration andpaperwork.
* Haveprevious Automotive Technician experience. Ideally you will alsohave an MOT Testing qualification and some main dealershipexperience.
* Demonstrateability to support coach and counsel and develop colleagues andjunior team members and to deliver high standards of technicaladvice service and maintenance to allcustomers.
* Fulldriving license held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9penaltypoints.
* Evidenceof Right to work in the UK
