As part of our Connections team, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Your role will involve supporting various business activities, from managing customer connections to handling data transfer processes and regulatory commitments. You will be responsible for managing applications for customers' electricity connections, disconnections, and service alterations on our network. What You'll Be Doing:
* Communicating with various internal and external stakeholders, from customers to contractors.
* Taking calls to process new connections and alterations applications, answering customer queries, and updating customers on the status of their applications.
* Managing online and email queries on our CRM system.
* Delivering excellent customer service to our customers throughout their application journey.
* Being proactive and flexible during exceptional events e.g., storms.
* Working with the wider business to help us achieve our business objectives.
What You'll Bring:
* Strong skills in communication (both written & verbal) and providing excellent Customer Service.
* Excellent planning and organization skills, with the ability to manage your time well.
* Previous call centre experience and knowledge of Salesforce is desirable.
* Computer literacy, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Flexible approach to working additional hours as part of emergency operations e.g., storms.
